[solved] How to MASS DELETE users

Postby johnap » 4:52am, Wed 24 Sep, 2008

I tried searching all the forums....No answer to this simple question.

How to mass delete the users who never confirm their subscription?

I have sent couple of reminders but some didn't confirm hence I decided to delete them... But how ? I dont see that...

is there any option that we can delete users in bulk?

Anyone can answer?

To delete users who have not confirmed their subscription, go to the admin pages, then Main Page. Now find the users section on the main screen, and click reconcile users.

Near the bottom of that page is a set of boxes with dates in. Set the top set to the earliest date of your phpList, then "To delete users who signed up and have not confirmed their subscription" hit the Click Here button.

Yep, same page as above (reconcile users), only this time first link "delete all users who are not subscribed to any list"

Think that's what you're after?

Mass Delete Selected Users

Postby Guest » 8:26pm, Thu 11 Dec, 2008

I want to search on specific criteria (a particular domain, for example), select certain users from the search results, and then delete those users. Is there a way to do that?

Similarly, I'd like to be able to take search results, select certain users from the search results, and subscribe them to a particular list (or lists). Is there a way to do that?

You can search for users using a specific domain by clicking users (in the right hand side menu), then choosing to "Find a User" with the domain as the search option (eg: Hotmail) and Email as the key to search, then click Go.

I don't think there is any way from there to delete these users or to select them for another list other than one by one. However, someone else may have an answer to that.

It would be great if someone can give a final answer to the question:

"""is there any option that we can delete users in bulk?"""

It is really a problem if you have to delete 1,000 users, ONE BY ONE...

I´m not complaining about the helpful replies by Dragonrider. I´m just saying it would be great to have an option to delete a bulk of users with just one clic.

Exactly. I am so annoyed with this software. It's so annoying to use. I also hate how it only shows 5 messages per page when you view the messages. It's not user friendly at all...unless you know PHP or code.
