Sending Interval

Postby Lincky » 10:43am, Tue 09 Apr, 2013

I have a list of about 50,000 emails and I wanted to create a range of time of sending an email to another email!
The phplist have a tool that allows this to happen?

The best approach using phplist is to use a cron job that is scheduled only within the hours that you want to send emails. For example run the cron job every 10 minutes within those hours.
Your hosting control panel should have a way of creating cron jobs.

phplist needs to be configured to use batch processing with each run of the cron job sending only a limited number of emails. If you have a limit on the send rate, e.g. 1000 emails per hour, then that needs to be allowed for as well.
