Disable subscription confirmation email

Postby fos » 11:57pm, Mon 06 May, 2013

Hi,

First of all i would like to say: what an awesome webapp is this! 8)

Now for my question, i would like to disable the new email subscription confirmation email.
Is it possible that if someone enters his/hers email address in the subscription page, he or she doesn't have to click on the activation link sended to their provided email address but the address is directly added to the list.

Would like to hear from you,

Greetings

Bad move!

Do you realise how in many countries these days it is actually illegal to use email addresses which weren't obtained through double opt-in processing via your own site or point of business?? Only spammers do that now.

Some countries, or states within, even require the inclusion of your full home / business address in all newsletters too. That's how serious privacy and anti spam issues have become.
