Hi guys,
I am part of a non-profit, we have a phplist and I need to learn to configure and operate it. I need your help in configuring, doing a few mailouts together and coach me. It's urgent. I would love it if you lived in the same time zone US Pacific, but everything is good. thanks

Start here http://docs.phplist.com/Documentation

It's a bit lengthy but I don't think there's a short cut, unless you go for the hosted approach. I suggest creating a test installation and list, and then playing around with it to understand how phplist works.

Some things you need to consider are:

  • importing existing users
  • do you want to use user tracking
  • do you want to use click tracking
  • how will bounces be handled
  • the rate of sending messages through your mail server.

If you are in a hurry and it has to work straightaway, then have a look at the hosted service.

thanks, I appreciate it. I still would prefer to pay someone to coach me, because I don't do well with documentation and never have. If anyone feels pulled, write to me asap, please.
