Can Spam regulations are changing

Postby bzcoder » 5:27pm, Wed 28 May, 2008

BTW, ran across this article on mailchimp's blog the other day:

http://www.mailchimp.com/blog/can-spam- ... m-the-ftc/

An important take away for me is that the government is finally doing what I have been unable to do. Convince some clients to stop the double opt out unsubscribe confirmation process.

As I read the new regs, people can be asked to send at MOST one email or go to ONE web page to unsubscribe.

No going to one page, than getting a confirmation email and clicking the link.

Thats good, with the double opt-out you either get irritate or leave in between!
