[solved] Trouble with config: disabling test mode

Postby Guest » 12:24am, Thu 02 Oct, 2008

I'm running your most recent version.

When I try to send a message, I get
Running in testmode, no emails will be sent. Check your config file.

I found this reference, which may be my problem...but

Did you inadvertently leave phplist in "Test mode"? In config.php check your value for this constant (0 is off, 1 is on): define ("TEST",0);

I can't find this value when I review the config file.
Please help. :oops:

Load config.php into a text editor such as Notepad, do a search for "TEST" and it should find it.

If not, it's somewhere near line 190

Latest phpList version is now 3.0.12 (3 February 2015) and requires a minimum of MySQL 5.0 and PHP 5.3.x
