Web hosts suitable for PHPList

Postby indidginus » 12:08pm, Tue 27 Apr, 2010

Hi guys,

Can anyone recommend me a good web host that is suitable for PHPList - allowing things like cron jobs, reverse dns lookup, domain keys, spf records etc? I've had a look around on Google myself but would like to get your opinions re: any hosts you've had experience with! Many thanks.

Michael.

Maybe you should give your shortlist and people could give their feedback.
That should help you identify the best one faster.

This was very helpful. I'm just getting started with phplist and I was wondering if it would work with my webhost. Your reply was perfect as I have hostgator.com.

Thanks from a grateful newbie

@familytreeprojects

I believe you did not read the thread completely.
In fact no one has replied to the thread.
indidginus who posted the question has given his/her list for people to respond.

@indidginus

I have not used any of these web-hosts so I am not sure about their performance.

The web-hosts that I have setup my website on is www.hostcats.com
They are based out of India & are a small company, but my experience has been very good.
The support team is very good & they respond fast.
Most of my issues have been resolved within 2-3 hours & those that were highly technical were constantly worked upon until they were resolved. I have been dealing with them for the past 2 years without any issues.

Ironically, their Sales Team is not upto the mark! But once your deal is final, you should expect to receive good support which in my opinion is what really matters! :-)

You could check out the options if you are okay with the distance. I believe they do have offices in the US, but I am not sure.
