I have been trying to unsubscribe from researchweb@email.chop.edu for literally over a year to no avail. They say that they use phplist v 2.10.9

To unsubscribe, they instruct to send and email with unsubscribe in the subject line. I have done this countless times.

Please, please help.

Thanks.

Unfortunately, there is nothing anyone can do about the use, or in the case, the abuse a company or individual makes of phpList. If the user decides to ignore an unsubscribe option that's usually the sign of a spammer, bit like Marks and Spencers website here in the UK. They refuse to delete emails from their newsletter, but that's not a phpList issue, that's just Marks and Spencer's being spammers.
My sites:- http://wharfedalefestival.co.uk, http://ilkleygardeners.org.uk, http://emergencyaid.net, http://dragonrider.co.uk
Latest phpList version is now 3.0.12 (3 February 2015) and requires a minimum of MySQL 5.0 and PHP 5.3.x

Hello

It's a workaround: most of the mailclients have a "unwanted mails" folder.
Just tell your mail client that those mails are unwanted and they will not end up in your inbox but in the "unwanted mails" folder.

Cheers,
