phplist.sql in MySQL version

Postby thoko » 6:54pm, Sun 07 Dec, 2014

phplist 3.0.10
MySQL 5.5

Whilst importing the phplist.sql into a new database the import stopped with a failure at table phplist_bounce:
---
CREATE TABLE phplist_bounce(
id SERIAL NOT NULL ,
DATE TIMESTAMP NULL DEFAULT NULL ,
header TEXT,
data bytea,
STATUS VARCHAR( 255 ) NULL DEFAULT NULL ,
COMMENT TEXT,
PRIMARY KEY ( id )
);

MySQL returned:
#1064 - You have an error in your SQL syntax; check the manual that corresponds to your MySQL server version for the right syntax to use near 'bytea,
status varchar(255) NULL default NULL,
comment text,
PRIMARY KEY (' at line 5
---
The problem seems to be 'data bytea,'.
'bytea' is not a MySQL datatype, but a Postgre datatype.

Where can I find a phplist.sql-file with MySQL datatypes only?
or
which MySQL datatype can I use instead of 'bytea'?

That file, phplist.sql, is not part of the installation process.
When you install phplist you get mostly an empty database with a few tables populated. Any other tables are populated through the admin interface - subscribers, lists, etc.
