New Forum features

Postby bevan » 7:13pm, Wed 22 Feb, 2006

A number of new features have been enabled in the forums, as announced in the 'Announcements' board: http://phplist.com/forums/viewtopic.php?p=14829#14829

We'd like to add other phpbb mods that might be useful. If you have any suggestions, add them to this forum.

One thing we'd like to add is a 'Report post to moderator' feature. But we haven't yet found (or looked, for that matter) how to do that. Tips would be appreciated. This would allow offensive posts, double posts, and spam posts to be reported and dealt with quickly and easily.

Ranking titles are currently
    >0 PHPlist Newbie
    >5 PHPlister
    >15 PL Nut
    >50 PL Geek
    >150 PL Master
    >500 PL Freak!
    >1500 Off the horizon

Please make more creative suggestions here!

Thanks! :)

If you are still looking, there is one of these mods over at phpbbhacks dot com (I can't post the URL yet). It creates a link at the bottom of every post allowing people to report the post.

Report to moderator feature

Postby sk_ray » 11:19am, Mon 15 Oct, 2007

Report to moderator feature is indeed really helpful for the administration of the forum. It in a way reduces the work load of moderators specially moderators of big forums. So definitely I would like that phpBB mod be added.

Funny that, if you look at the top of each post, at the line of icons, the Exclaimation Point, that's the Report post to Moderators link right there.

Latest phpList version is now 3.0.12 (3 February 2015) and requires a minimum of MySQL 5.0 and PHP 5.3.x
