[fixed] bug on import csv file in 2.10.11

Postby bulgin » 7:06pm, Tue 20 Apr, 2010

When I attempt to import a .csv file using the "import emails with different values for attributes", I see, for example, the following output, which is normal. However, if I click confirm import nothing happens and in any subsequent import sessions when I click on "import emails with different values for attributes" I always see this data and cannot get past it. It used to work flawlessly.

Code: Select all
Reading emails from file ... ..ok, 6 lines
5 lines will be imported
confirm import
Test Output
    email -> cettit@xxx.com
    email -> eitor@xxx.com
    email -> kamer@xxx.com
    email -> gryman@xxx.com
    email -> jaltz@xxx.com
Test output
If the output looks ok, click confirm import to submit for real
import some more emails

Yes, I can reproduce this on my install.
In the above scenario, the following links appear to be unresponsive:
- confirm import
- import some more emails
- reset import session

Filed bug report: http://mantis.phplist.com/view.php?id=15450

EDIT: Also tested the second import option "import emails with the same values for attributes" which appears to work fine.

EDIT 2: Fixed in v2.10.12

Even with the patch for checkboxgroup in importcsv.php, I still had the same issue of not being able to get past "confirm import". I got around it by not checking the "Test output" nor "Show Warnings" boxes.

I have not upgraded to 2.10.12 because of the pain involved in patching the modules that require customization.
