There is no Bulgarian translation available at the moment, and as far a I know, no-one has started a Bulgarian translation. So, your translation would certainly be a nice contribution.

You will find some documentation and useful link on translating the public frontend and/or the administrators backend here:

How is it going? Are there any news about hackman's bulgarian translation?
I've partially translated phplist in Bulgarian an year and a half ago but didn't ever get to finish it so be able to contribute it to the phplist community. Now I'm much far from the project and the fact it's now, 2 months later, seeing this topic here says enough.

part 1 READY

Postby hackman » 4:32pm, Wed 28 Nov, 2007

I have finished the main translation.
Now i'm working on the admin section.
It's 80% ready and soon I'll post it :)

p.s. The Bulgarian character set is windows-1251 but i do not like it. I use UTF-8 caracter set for the translation. If there is a problem, i can change id to windows-1251.

Great! :D
I've added a note to the issue tracker, so the developers can include your translation in a future release: http://mantis.phplist.com/view.php?id=14041

Thanks again!

Bulgarian translation

Postby MasterAIP » 11:15am, Wed 05 Nov, 2008

Today I updated my php list to the latest version, and I made few adjustments to the bulgarian translation. Enjoy it :)

Re: Bulgarian Front End Translation ver. 1.2

Postby H2B2 » 2:15am, Wed 08 Apr, 2009

bulgarian.1.2.rar by MasterAIP:

EDIT on 21-12-2009:
Added bulgarian_utf8.zip (by MasterAIP) - in UTF-8 encoding which is the recommended and preferred encoding.

This file also includes the missing english strings (that still need translation!) for a full update to the frontend text strings used in the current version of phpList (v2.10.7 - v2.10.10).
You could use a text editor like notepad++, which will display most encodings including UTF-8.

If you translate the remaining english text strings, please attach the updated translation to this thread. Thx!
