Moving my smtp help!

Firstly thanks to all the help duncan has given me on my other posts. With out his advice i wouldn't have got this far.

I have phplist hosted on a 1and1 account and so far, i've crashed the server, been warned not to email so much and been frozen out a few times. So i have decided to move smpt.

I have just signed up for a free sendgrid account to test the system. I have phplist hosted on my 1and1 and i have changed all relevant settings found here http://support.sendgrid.com/entries/203 ... th-PHPList so that it works.

However i am still sending all my mail through my 1and1 account and send grid stats show 0. Possibly the worst result as i am non the wiser on what to do.

Any help would be much appreciated.

What happened to this? did you solve it?

Check:

define("PHPMAILERHOST",'');

Colud be:
define("PHPMAILERHOST",'10.0.0.1');
for example.
