Data lost

Postby BerndFRT » 6:26am, Fri 08 Aug, 2014

Hi there,

in error I deleted a full list of subscribers. Is there any update hidden in the system which would allow me to recover the lost data?

Many thanks in advance for any kind of help,
Bernd

Sorry, but if you delete it, it's gone.

Your only hope is if you made a db backup prior to deletion and can thus recover the deleted data by Importing your data via phpMyAdmin.

Your host may have auto backups enabled in which case they could assist in restoring your data.

Many thanks for your promt reply. Looks not good for me. I have an off-line database of about 50% of the subscribers, but the rest seems to be gone as I didn't install an auto-backup.

Kind regards, Bernd

Using Jim's or my method you should be able to create a free backup method for backing up your database, just set up the suggested cron job and you'll get a daily backup mailed to you.

Doesn't help you in this case, but for the future, may be just what you need.
