Missing User Details

Postby Support1 » 1:16pm, Mon 05 Jan, 2015

Hello,

I wondered if anyone may have a solution to my query. I am trying to export all the user details. The csv file opens correctly into Excel, however when I check through the data, not all the users are present. The user details entered into the database seem to be in the same format as the other users.

I am using the 2.10 version and Chrome.

Many thanks

When you say "Not all users are present" can you give some more details please?

What do you mean, is there any specific logic to the missing users? Are they from, for example, more than three years ago?

Thank you for your message.

When the data is in client number order in Excel some client lines are completely missing.
For example client number 100 will be present with address, tel etc, however 101 might be missing, but 102 is present.

There does not seem to be a pattern with the missing data or prior to a particular date. However there appears to be less missing as the client numbers get higher (added later).

Many thanks,

I would usually change the 'date from' - to 1 January 2012 - not 2015 as seen in the screen print.

Is 2012 as far back as you can go, or have you being using phpList prior to 2012(IE: 3 years ago)?

If so, you need to adjust the dates in your config/config.php file.
For example, if you started in 2008:
Code: Select all
# year ranges. If you use dates, by default the drop down for year will be from
# three years before until 10 years after this the current value for year. If there
# is no current value the current year will be used.
# if you want to use a bigger range you can set the start and end year here
# be aware that the drop down may become very large.
# if set to 0 they will use the default behaviour. So I'm afraid you can't start with
# year 0. Also be aware not to set the end year to something relatively soon in the
# future, or it will stop working when you reach that year.
define('DATE_START_YEAR',2008);
define('DATE_END_YEAR',0);

Three years back, or future-wards, is the default setting.

Thank you for your post. How do I get to the configure page to make the changes to the date.
I went to the configure tab, but could not find a relevant link to then change the date?

Many thanks

As I said, you make this change in the lists/config/config.php FILE, not any phpList admin page. :)

This is on your server, on the path lists/config/config.php (Change "lists" IF you are using a different path to your phplist installation).
