Please check the documentation before posting in this forum.

PHPlist documentation can be found at http://docs.phplist.com/

Thanks! :)

No, not one that I know of. The only workaround would be to use google cache.

You could use this search string in google: site:docs.phplist.com placeholder

Then click on "cached" in the search results.

Is there a way to download the docs so I can read while I work on setting up PHPlist? It's difficult enough to go back and fourth online trying to get my PHPlist up and running.

In linux you could use wget to download all the pages for the docs, or in windows httrack. Then you could browse the pages offline in your hard disk.

Documentation not working

Postby Guest » 11:50pm, Wed 05 Nov, 2008

When I try any of the links, I just get a time out.

Is there a new location for this that anyone knows of?

I'm having the same problem from time to time.

Using the following URL does sometimes give better results:
http://www.phplist.com/t/~http://docs.phplist.com/

Be nice if the documentation had a search feature.

The forum has search, but http://docs.phplist.com/Documentation does not.

Or, scroll to the very bottom of the page at http://docs.phplist.com/ where you'll find the search box.

Perhaps if that search box were placed at the top of the page, it would make for a few less forum posts, since specific information might be a little less tedious to find.

When replying to a problem please be sure to reply with ALL the steps that are required to solve the problem. Nothing is worse than someone who skips the beginner stuff and goes straight into the problem. Please specify whether phplist admin panel or your host panel and what fold/file. This will prevent multiple entries too.

I did, I read 2 pages one this topic and I found that the information listed on Process Message Queue contradicted the first. One says things will not send unless Process Message Queue is not run the other says that running Process Message Queue will send the message UNLESS and embargo has been set.

I am stupid and don't understand, which is it? If I set an embargo to send starting at 11pm will it send automatically when it gets to 11 pm ? Or, do I have to make sure I am at my computer atfer 11pm to then hit Process Message Queue?
