Installing PDF option, after initial Install?

Postby Ric » 7:45am, Wed 10 May, 2006

Hi All,
PHP list is awesome, but some of the documentation is a bit lacking. :(

I've tried to find anything on the send as PDF option on the site, here on the forum, and found a minimal entry on the WIKI.

It looks like the PDF option can only be used IF it is installed with the initial install... is this correct?

I don't have control over the install as it is configured as part of MY ISP's preset options ( using cPanel), which is great as it takes a lot of the guess work & fumbling out of the equation.

So, does anyone know if it is possible to add/udate/re-install to get the PDF option for sending mailouts, and if so what steps are needed?

Thanks in advance

Ric

That option can be found in the config.php file, after before install pl.

If you want to be able to send your messages as PDF attachments, you need to install
# FPDF (http://www.fpdf.org) and set these variables accordingly in /config/config.php

define('FPDF_FONTPATH','/home/pdf/font/');
require('fpdf.php');
define("USE_PDF",1);
$pdf_font = 'Times';
$pdf_fontstyle = '';
$pdf_fontsize = 14;
