Help! I have created a very simple html template that I would like to use when sending mails (see below). However, when I actually try to use it I have a number of issues:

* when I send myself a test message, I get the text-only version of the email message
* the template was working fine until I recently upgraded to the current version of PHPList

<sound of hair tearing out> what is happening? why has it suddenly stopped working?!

The template in question...

<!--CTYPE HTML PUBLIC "-//W3C//DTD HTML 4.01 Transitional//E-->
<table width="500" cellpadding="10">
<tbody>
<tr>
<td><img width="190" height="75" align="left" src="http://www.pwa-milan.org/images/logo-PWA.jpg" alt="PWA Logo" /></td>
</tr>
<tr>
<td>
<p>[CONTENT]</p>
</td>
</tr>
<tr>
<td> <hr noshade="" />
<p>PWA Milan - [WEBSITE]</p>
<p>If you want to unsubscribe, please go to the following page and follow the instructions: [UNSUBSCRIBE]</p>
</td>
</tr>
</tbody>
</table>

Is it in the templates pages?
And have you checked in the database?

Ok, check if the template is 'default' in the templates page, and if you are sending a message you have to choose the template to use in the format tab.
If still is not working try to reupload the template, maybe something went wrong in the upgrade.

i have tried all that you say! i have:

* deleted the template and created a new one
* selected the template (did double check despite setting it as default) in the format window
* torn out hair (am now bald) in process

what would you recommend? should i rollback the installation? i need the templates so that our association's communications can be sent out by others....

thanks so far...

Yeah I am having the same problem. The template works when I send a test message from the format tab, but when I send the same message with the template to one of my lists, the template doesn't go along for the ride.

Did you guys ever figure out what was causing this problem?
