Confirmation email not sending - Test set to 1

Postby jenangel » 4:54am, Sun 11 Mar, 2007

I just uploaded PHPList to my site today. I have been trying to test my mailing list by adding some of my emails including domains and yahoo. The confirmation emails are not coming through. I've checked the spam/bulk email boxes and they are not there. I did change the config.php file to ("TEST",1). It even states on the main admin page "You have set TEST in config.php to 1, so it will only show what would be sent". However, when I click on processqueue it pulls up that page and states in big bold red letters "Running in testmode, no emails will be sent. Check your config file." I'm not sure if I missed something. It seems that with most people when you set the test to 1 in the config.php file that it fixed the problem, but not in my case. Any help is appreciated.

Sincerely,
Jen

Hi Jen,
if test is true (not 0) it will not actually send ANY messages

Change define ("TEST",1); to define ("TEST",0);

Then it will send out the messages, if Test is set to not 0, ie: 1 then the message is assumed to be a test message and will not be actually sent. :)

Latest phpList version is now 3.0.12 (3 February 2015) and requires a minimum of MySQL 5.0 and PHP 5.3.x

I read earlier posts where it had to be set at 1 and then after seeing newer posts that it has to be set at 0 I changed it. It is set to 0 in the config.php and the confirmation emails are still not sending.
