Html checkbox

Have searched and read, all the documentation and forum for the past 2 hours but can't find an answer to this one.

To change the choice for the html checkbox you go to subscribe pages. Easy enough

But, I have not created any subscribe pages preferrig to use the stock standard out of box subscribe page (wherever that is created).

Yes I have other attributes that I have added, and all working fine.

But I want to get rid of the option to choose text or html emails, and just have the html email as default.

So where can I change that? Nothing comes up in the subscribe pages.

Where is the default subscribe page that creates the Email input box, and the HTML Checkbox, and how can I change the default to html always?

You need to edit your subscribe page: Admin module >> subscribe pages >> edit
There you should find an option for "HTML Email choice": "Don't offer choice, default to HTML"

Sorry, obviously did not make it clear enough or am not understanding what you are saying.

I know about going to Admin, and choosing "Subscribe Pages"

but I don't have any, so PHPlist uses some default page.

when I go to "Subscribe Pages", none are listed.

The default is not there
and I have not created any.

or is there somewhere else I can go, and am getting mixed up.

Hope that helps

Subscribe Pages

phplist requires that you set up at least one subscribe page. This is the public page through which your users can subscribe to lists. You can ask users to fill up other fields in addition to their email.

There is one page, though, that seems to defy attempts at defaulting to HTML. Go to Lists, select "View Members" of a list and then choose "Add a User". There doesn't seem to be a place to get that page to pre-set to html and I find myself using that page quite often because of the nature of our lists and how members get added which is from business cards that our Director collects at events or from hand written sign up sheets at events.

Once logged in you could go to the actual subscription page, which reconises you are logged in and you can choose not to send confirmation.

I think that way you would get the html ok
