PHPlist imports anything as an email address

Postby ramziddin » 9:27am, Fri 16 Mar, 2007

Hi All

When I am importing an emails to the list from the .csv file the system doesn,t check whether it is actually mail. It imports anything even words with a space as an email. Also when manually adding a user there is the same situation.

Could anyone found a way to fix this problem

Multo Gracio

It is a .csv file that contains:

ha ha
la/ci
pa:ga ca
...

(characters that are normally should not be in email address content)
In the one column and while importing PHPlist imports them as emails. The problem occurs when I am manually adding an email. Whatever I write to email text-box the system will take it as email.

Maybe this problem has to be solved from the programming side. I don't know PHP so is there anyone who tried to deal with this kind of problem.
