Hey all.. I installed PHPList under a directory in my web root called 'lists' (default).. and would like to change the directory name to 'mailings'. Does anyone know how I can go about doing this without screwing everything up? Thanks for any help.

Rename the folder from lists to mailings, then find the config/config.php file and alter the path to phplists/ and also the path to phplists/admin/

Think they are fairly near the top of the config file.

Code: Select all
# if you change the path to the PHPlist system, make the change here as well
# path should be relative to the root directory of your webserver (document root)
# you cannot actually change the "admin", but you can change the "lists"
$pageroot = '/lists';
$adminpages = '/lists/admin';

Change to
Code: Select all
# if you change the path to the PHPlist system, make the change here as well
# path should be relative to the root directory of your webserver (document root)
# you cannot actually change the "admin", but you can change the "lists"
$pageroot = '/mailings';
$adminpages = '/mailings/admin';

Wow... that sounds easy enough. So that is all I have to do? Thanks mod.
