Adding banners/footers to public pages

Postby creighshank » 11:20am, Wed 21 Mar, 2007

Love your product. Wouldn't change the credits, poweredby..., etc., for all the tea in China. But I would like to be able to put an include link to a banner at the very top and one to a footer at the very bottom on public pages. (Advertising, you know, powers sites, too.)

Tried editing header in the configuration section (where the edit function is provided) by the public pages do not seem to change (viewing page source).

With the header changes not working, didn't bother with footer edits.

Any suggestions?

Thanks.

To add php code to the header and footer will require a lot of work I think.

Maybe you can try to do it with javascript? This way you don't have to mess around in the core.

You might want to search google to assist you.
