adding a subscription field

Postby lepoticum » 10:29am, Tue 08 May, 2007

just started using php lists for a newsletter on a site. can someone tell me how to add a field on the newsletter subscription form and also how to add privacy text at the bottom of the page.

Finally is there a way of encodeing a form key like the ones where a jpeg is generated with the number and letters in it.

You should first create 'attributes' and than select these attributes when editing your subscribe page.

There's a captcha mod you could take a look at: http://mantis.phplist.com/view.php?id=8826

Yes, when editing your subscribe page you should see this option in the attribute's box:
Order of Listing: [text field] Is this attribute required?: [checkbox]
