Where have the editors gone

Postby michiel » 12:41pm, Tue 20 Aug, 2013

The FCKeditor is now a plugin, which is included in the 3.0 versions. If the editor is not showing check your config file and make sure that the plugin rootdir is set as follows:

Code: Select all
define('PLUGIN_ROOTDIR','plugins');

You may also want to check out the new CKeditor plugin.

Once you have the correct path to your plugins directory, go to the plugins admin page (Config>Plugins) and enable one of the editors (FCKEditor is available by default).

If you cannot see the CKEditor, then download it and enable it instead of the FCKEditor.

There is also an editor for the CKEditor plugin, thanks to DanWaterloo for this link.

How to integrate the full CKEditor.

There is also a TinyMCE Editor plugin available.

Latest phpList version is now 3.0.12 (3 February 2015) and requires a minimum of MySQL 5.0 and PHP 5.3.x
