Another cron problem after upgrade

Postby wxman » 8:34pm, Wed 09 Apr, 2014

I've read through, and followed the advice on other posts about how to handle sending by cron after upgrading from 2.x to 3.x. When I upgraded, I used the extended config, and copied over all the original settings. I make a campaign, run through all the steps to process the queue, but it only sends if I manually do it. The original cron used to work perfectly, but stopped after the upgrade. The old cron looked like this:
Code: Select all
/usr/bin/php -q /var/www/vhosts/domain.net/httpdocs/sites/domain.net/lists/admin/index.php -p processqueue  >/dev/null

I'm running the server using Plesk if that helps.

The new one I made after reading posts here:
Code: Select all
/usr/bin/php -q /var/www/vhosts/domain.net/httpdocs/lists/admin/index.php -p processqueue -c /vhosts/domain.net/httpdocs/lists/config/config.php

I even set the cron to run every 5 minutes for testing. There nothing in the server log, or the PHPlist event log.
What am I missing?

I fixed it. I guess it was just very specific about the address. It needed the whole address in both places:
Code: Select all
/usr/bin/php -q /var/www/vhosts/domain.net/httpdocs/lists/admin/index.php -p processqueue -c /var/www/vhosts/domain.net/httpdocs/lists/config/config.php

Now it works.
