what dir is php.ini in?

I checked a few like config and admin and don't see it

it's mentioned in section 4 of your security read me

4. Set "register globals" to be "off" in your php.ini file.

It isn't there.

You need to create a php.ini file yourself and place it within the lists and possibly the lists/admin directories.

Depending on your hosts settings, it'll work or it won't. You may need to check if your host actually allow you to create such a file, some don't, whereas others have it as an option on your server admin control panel.

Latest phpList version is now 3.0.12 (3 February 2015) and requires a minimum of MySQL 5.0 and PHP 5.3.x
