Not all list subscribers are being exported

Postby skyblueman » 1:24am, Sun 22 Feb, 2015

Hi,

I am trying to export a list of users (email, lname, fname) to an excel file for import into another PHP list. I have a list of approx 4600 users, but only approx 1800 are being exported. I believe the reason is because the PHP list export is not allowing me to choose a year prior to 2012 and many subscribers were imported from another list program in 2010. How can I add the earlier years to the range dropdown or how can I bypass this entirely to export all users?

I don't know much about PhP or SQL, but when I log into myPhpAdmin I am able to export all the users' emails, but don't know how to get their attributes (lname, fname) as well.

Any help would be greatly appreciated!

Regards,
Mike

You don't say which version you are running but it is usually down to the default settings being used for year start and end in the lists/config.config.php file

Either change or add the following code somewhere in your config.php file
Code: Select all
# year ranges. If you use dates, by default the drop down for year will be from
# three years before until 10 years after this the current value for year. If there
# is no current value the current year will be used.
# if you want to use a bigger range you can set the start and end year here
# be aware that the drop down may become very large.
# if set to 0 they will use the default behaviour. So I'm afraid you can't start with
# year 0. Also be aware not to set the end year to something relatively soon in the
# future, or it will stop working when you reach that year.
define('DATE_START_YEAR',0);
define('DATE_END_YEAR',0);

And change the DATE_START_YEAR value from 0 to the first year you started using phpList, probably 2010 from your notes.
Leave the DATE_END_YEAR as 0.

Latest phpList version is now 3.0.12 (3 February 2015) and requires a minimum of MySQL 5.0 and PHP 5.3.x
