Email footers are re-directing to the wrong directory

Postby skyblueman » 4:17pm, Sun 22 Feb, 2015

Hi,

I have version 3.0.12 of phpList installed and have installed it to an "enews" directory instead of the "lists" directory. I have made the necessary additions to the config.php file:

$pageroot = '/enews';
$adminpages = '/enews/admin';

All seems to be working OK, but something strange is happening on the footer links for sent campaigns: They show the correct path to phpList (/enews) but when clicked on it converts to the "lists" directory in the browser and then I receive a 404 error? What could be doing this?

Thanks,
Mike

In version 3 you don't need to bother with $adminpages by the way, this is no longer used.

I'm not sure why you have this problem, I just wonder if one of your URLs, set in the Admin pages, configuration>Settings, Subscription settings section, still points to a lists directory.

Oh, and as this section is for Version 2, and you ask about version 3, I'll put this topic in the correct forum, ie: Version 3 Zone: Installing & Upgrading

Latest phpList version is now 3.0.12 (3 February 2015) and requires a minimum of MySQL 5.0 and PHP 5.3.x

Thank you Dragonrider, that was indeed the case; the subscription settings were pointing to the "lists" directory.
