LIST OF CAMPAIGNS is empty

Postby celiac101 » 10:11pm, Thu 21 Aug, 2014

After upgrading dozens of past campaigns don't show up at all in the "LIST OF CAMPAIGNS", but more disturbingly not even the new one that is currently sending will show up there, no matter how I search. Is this feature broken on my installation? Do I need a plugin besides the "Manage Campaigns" one (which ought to be in the installation by default...as well as a few other plugins).

I have not seen this problem before, but it might be a permissions problem.
Is your admin id the same as that which created the campaigns? If your admin id is not a super admin then it will not be able to see the campaigns created by other admins.

I am logged in as "admin" and I am the super admin, but still see nothing in there...I can't see any past campaigns or future ones, not matter what I do.

PS - Since I am running SUPHP all directories are 755, and all files are 644.

This issue is still present, and I still haven't been able to find a workaround. Any ideas would be helpful. I realize that it is likely a permission issue with my setup--are there files or directories that must be chmod 777 ?

Never set file or directory permissions to 777, your host will often block them as they become security holes for the entire server, not just your web space. Hence the running of SUPHP (or SUPexec or similar).

As mentioned...they are set to 755 because I am running SUPHP.

Ok, now back to the point of this thread...my LIST OF CAMPAIGNS is empty since I upgraded. Obviously something is not right...someone mentioned permissions as a possibility--please help.

Can you show a screenshot of what you are actually seeing when the Sent campaigns are selected?

Sure, it is attached. No matter what I use to sort, nothing turns up. I can, however, see them fine using the Manage Campaigns plugin that I added...just not in this.

It wasn't clear from your original problem description but the page is not being completely displayed. So some kind of error is occuring, which you might find in the php or web server error log. You should be able to view an error log on your hosting control panel. The phplist event log might have something but I would guess not.

How did you upgrade phplist? Did you install into a new directory, or overwrite the existing directory? if it was the latter then I suggest re-installing but into a new directory, then copy the config.php file.

As most folks do, I installed over the old directory. I really don't want to deal with changing the URL's of my subscription pages, 301 redirects, etc., that comes with changing the paths to the installation. I will check my logs.

You just need to rename the current directory (lists_xxx.old) and install phplist into a directory with the same name. Then copy the config.php file.

Unfortunately downloading a fresh copy of all files did not solve the problem. I will try looking at the logs, but I suspect it is a database issue caused by the upgrade.

Same here. No list of campaigns.

Also, please update version 3.08 and include a very important feature that was excluded since version 3.05 or 3.06 - to delete campaigns

Thanks

This is now dealt with via the Campaigns Plugin written by DuncanC
