MAC and Copy and Paste to PHP list

Postby atbeach » 4:41pm, Wed 03 Sep, 2014

HI,
we have a customer who recently upgraded to the new PHPlist..Since then she is not able to use Copy and Paste option...She is using Mac....When she tries to copy something, the hyperlinks and images do not get copied..I can do it just fine on the PC....

What we want to do is this:
She is sending a newsletter every week.
She has a template with Header and Footer and the body /content has some preset text, but its edited every week-new date, maybe new text or smth.....
How can we save this text so she can easily reuse it every week for her newsletter. Thanks

Copy the original message and create it as a Template.
Then change the content block that changes each time (In the template) to exactly this.
Code: Select all
[CONTENT]

Now when she wants to send a message/campaign out, just enter the text that changes into the Compose Message box under the Content Tab. This will then replace the [CONTENT] in the Template.

Then move to the Format Tab. Select HTML and the template (that you created) .
Check the Scheduling Tab is set for your needs, move to the Lists Tab and choose which lists to send your message to and finally Finish. If necessary, Process the Queue to actually start sending.

Latest phpList version is now 3.0.12 (3 February 2015) and requires a minimum of MySQL 5.0 and PHP 5.3.x
