Mailqueue [SOLVED]

Postby kklo » 8:00pm, Wed 24 Sep, 2014

Hi,

I want to send a very slow campaign, type:
1 email every 15 min
4 emails per hour

I do so?
define ("MAILQUEUE_BATCH_SIZE", 1);
define ("MAILQUEUE_BATCH_PERIOD", 3600);
define ('MAILQUEUE_THROTTLE', 0.06);

and I should put the cron hourly or 15 min at 15?

Thanks
kklo

I'd suggest:
Code: Select all
define ("MAILQUEUE_BATCH_SIZE", 1);
define ("MAILQUEUE_BATCH_PERIOD", 900);
define ('MAILQUEUE_THROTTLE', 0.06);

That will send one every 15 minutes, you had it sending one per hour. If you have a specific limit such as 4 per hour, you could use 4 and 3600 or 1 per 15 minutes use 1 and 900 (15 minutes in seconds).
Cron job is probably ok every 15 minutes.

Latest phpList version is now 3.0.12 (3 February 2015) and requires a minimum of MySQL 5.0 and PHP 5.3.x
