Multiple Subsriber Lists for unprivileged Admin's

Postby Danny » 12:54pm, Mon 08 Dec, 2014

Hi all,

I am in the process of setting up phplist for my company, we have multiple teams that send mails to multiple different client lists. I have set up phplist with the ldap authentication patch so that our staff can log in as "unprivileged Admins" to work on their individual projects, all works well however a normal user can only make 1 subscriber list, unless I make them a "Super Admin". This is not viable in the company as staff should not be able to view each others client lists. Any advice would be appreciated. Please let me know if you would like any further information.

Thanks.

This value in the config.php file controls how many lists an ordinary admin can create. Possibly it is set to 1 in your file.
Code: Select all
# if you use login, how many lists can be created per administrator
define("MAXLIST",1);

Thanks Duncan,

That option didn't appear to be in my config.php, so it must default to 1 anyway. However I have entered it and it has fixed my issue.
