PHPlist emails marked as spam

Postby janl » 2:10pm, Mon 19 Jan, 2015

Hi,

I just installed PHPPlist 3.0.11 on a virtual server and the programm is working fine just as it did for over 3 years.
But, . . . the image "powered by phplist" (power-phplist.png) seems to cause problems or the way the HTML is formatted. I already tried to change defaultconfig.php, connect.php and had a look at lib.php but that does not help much.
Guess it is in sendemaillib.php line 233 or so but I do not see how I could repair it or how to take it all away to test what would happen.

This is what I get with a HTML-Mail where I only put Text in it.
The HELO_DYNAMIC_IPADDR is a rDNS-matter for IPv6 that I must clear with the hosting company.
I could see this code with Thunderbird 31.0.3 on linux.

Code: Select all
X-HE-Spam-Level: +++++
X-HE-Spam-Score: 5.3
X-HE-Spam-Report: Content analysis details:   (5.3 points)
  pts rule name              description
 ---- ---------------------- --------------------------------------------------
0.0 HTML_IMAGE_ONLY_32     BODY: HTML: images with 2800-3200 bytes of words
0.1 HTML_MESSAGE           BODY: HTML included in message
3.2 HELO_DYNAMIC_IPADDR    Relay HELO'd using suspicious hostname (IP addr
                             1)
2.0 TO_NO_BRKTS_HTML_IMG   To: misformatted and HTML and one image
X-SPAM-FLAG: Yes

I hope someone has already found this too and solved it.

Kind regards,
Jan
