Multi SMTP Question

Postby blubay » 12:49pm, Sun 29 Mar, 2015

Hi.

I read https://resources.phplist.com/system/sending#multi_smtp that I can use Multi SMTP. But what about the different usernames and passwords? How did I have to insert them into the config file?

Thanks.

Hello,

You would need to be able to send with the same user/password for all smtp servers, if the sending is authenticated (requires a login).

Some smtp servers can be configured to allow sending/relaying from specific ip addresses without authentication. It's a more advanced configuration, and you generally have to have access to the internals of the server to set this scenario up.

Is there a possibility to send with different User/Pass? I searched the plugins but didn't found anything. Multi SMTP with always same user and password? WTF? :D
