How to change the mail header?

Hello.

How can I change / edit the mail header? Its pretty big and I want to remove some lines there.

Can someone tell me please which files I have to edit?

The email standards body requires that all smtp servers sign an email with a header. removing the headers is a violation of the standards.

If you want to do that anyways, you can intercept the email and use grep with regular expressions. Exactly how to do this is dependent on your particular email server, and its architecture.

Hi.

I don't want to remove the header I want to alter it. And I'm sure its not a violation of any standard if I alter my email header. The standard header here is just bloated, if you ask me.

I also don't want to intercept the email. I am sure somewhere in the code of phplist is the "template" for that header. And that is what I want to change.
