All bounces are unidentified

Postby blubay » 5:10pm, Fri 03 Apr, 2015

Hello.

My bounce processing is connecting to the server and can download the bounces. But all of them are unidentified. No message, no subscriber is shown in the list. But if I examine the bounces I can find the bounce email in the mail. Just PHPlist can not extract the address from it.

Why?

you might want to look at your version of php... make sure it is a recent one. 5.3.3 or later, try even 5.4.x if you have it.

I really don't find a solution for that. Its also not possible to export that unidentified bounces list.

Maybe someone can help?

And just to verify, you have the latest version of phpList installed? 3.0.12?
Other things to check would be to look at the bounces, and make sure all the headers are there?
Are you using standard bounce handling, or advanced bounce handling?

You will need to show some text from of one of the bounces that you think should be identified. Copy from the beginning and include all of the headers of the original email sent by phplist, and use the Code button so that it is displayed in a fixed-width font.
