phpList send email after closing browser?

Postby lucablue » 12:55pm, Thu 09 Jan, 2014

Hi,
I've just upgraded from version 2. Usually I start the process and then close the browser, then the software worked all night long. After updated to version 3 it seems not work like this anymore and is needed the window browser open, is right?

Why? There is a system to send email in background?

Thank you

i prefer to process the queue with a cron job.
That way, you don't have to dedicate a computer just so that you keep the browser open.
This is all documented in the docs....
