One universal subscriber form on Multiple Domains - populati

Postby AlexLifeson » 3:32pm, Tue 17 Jun, 2014

Very inexperienced User here....

Using PhPList is it possible to have 1 universal subscriber form present on multiple domains (>4), where the subscriber data from each domain is directed to 1 universal data base? Yes / No? Can this be done using my current host (hostmonster)?

I used PhPList in 2012, worked great, used on only 1 domain.

To Repeat: Is it possible to have one universal subscriber form on multiple domains, where the subscriber data from each domain feeds one universal data base?

Thanks to anyone who looks at my questions and needs!!!

I'm not entirely sure what you are asking, despite you repeating the question.

Do you want four individual phplist instances, each with their own subscribe form. And then some way of transferring subscriptions from each to another phplist instance. phplist doesn't provide a way of amalgamating data in that way.

Or do you just want one phplist instance and put its subscribe form on four separate web sites?
You can do this by creating the subscribe page in phplist and then copying the html for that page into pages on each of the four domains.

Thanks Duncanc

No - to the first scenario, Yes, to the second.

One instance of PhPList, where the subscriber form may be on many sites.

Therefore, I will use your advice of copying the html of the subscribers form and paste it into several domains.

Is this correct, am I understand you correctly?

Thank you for any replies.
