what about SPF/DKIM when I change the "from" address ?

Hello,

Sorry for that newbie question...
I saw that I could change the "from" address when sending a newsletter. But what about SPF/DKIM records ? Can I use SPF/DKIM record for "smtp.mydomain.com" (to avoid being classified as spam) and use "newsletter@myband.com" as from address at the same time ??

Thank you very much for your help !

Best regards,

Airelle

If you setup the DKIM/SPF for the domain in the 'envelope from' address, that will work. That way you can change the 'From" address for each campaign.

Intresting...

How do I set the DKIM/SPF for the domain in the 'envelope from' address?

Must that be done inside PHPlist or on the domain from the SMTP server?

Thanks and greetings,

Erik.

Interesting ! But... how ? By editing a php config file ? or can I specify the DKIM/SPF while I'm writing/configuring the campaign using PHPList before sending it ?

Yes but I was wondering with SPF/DKIM when I will send newsletter with alternate "from" addresses... If I configure SPF/DKIM as in this page, I have to enter the domain name, configure my DNS server, edit powerMTA server, and thus I can't do all this each time I send a campaign with different "from" domain address...

Thus, is there a way to configure ONE SPF/DKIM record for "smtp.mydomain.com" (to avoid my emails being classified as spam) and use "newsletter@myband.com" or "newsletter@otherdomain.com" or "something@somedomain.org" as "from" address for the campaigns I send ??

What was danwaterloo talking about ?? I don't understand how to use his suggestion...
