Have admin only get email notification for NEW Sign-ups?

Does anyone know if I can change the settings for email notifications so that the admin only gets emails about new subscribers, and not for updates and unsub anymore?

I see that I can turn all notifications on or off, but is there anywhere in the php or settings where I could make a more specific choice?

That is not possible unfortunately. Currently you can either disable or enable all email notifications. Being able to select which which notifications should be enabled would certainly be useful. You are welcome to file a feature request at http://mantis.phplist.com

For the email notification for Lists Subscription, would it be possible to configure so that the IP address of the subscriber is included? I'm getting numerous bogus subscribes by people obviously hoping to get email addresses for spam. I would like the ability to block those IPs from future attempts. Here's the latest one as an example:
