How do I add list values to the 'select' attribute? [solved]

Postby Guest » 3:23pm, Mon 24 Nov, 2008

If I specify a drop down box (select) as the attribute type, I get an empty drop down box. How do I populate it with the values I want to list? I can copy the code to dreamweaver, and insert them there, but I suspect that won't create the necessary code in phplist.

So my question is: How do I populate the 'select' value of an attribute with the values I want the user to select?

After having created a 'select' type attribute (/lists/admin/?page=attributes), you will see that this attribute is displayed in the 'configuration functions' section on the main page of the admin module.

You can add selectable values for that attribute, by clicking on the attribute, and selecting 'add new'.

For inserting an 'empty value prefix' in the selection list, see also: http://forums.phplist.com/viewtopic.php?t=18039
