[solved] How to Terminate a Processing Queue

Postby ronspain » 6:56pm, Mon 23 Mar, 2009

Hi. Embarrassed, but can't figure out how to terminate an email run after it's running. Found a content error in a large email run and need to stop sending.

Thanks for your help.

Login to admin panel (if you manually process the queue, it may be necessary to do it in a different browser or different PC than the one you processed the queue from), click on messages then find the message you want to stop and click "suspend". In an emergency you can login to PHPMyAdmin, go to the messages table and change the status for the message from "inprocess" to "suspended". Either of these should halt the message immediately.
