how to disable information update?

how to disable information update? like subscriber cant input same email and their Name or whatever.

insted of upadating info, user should redirect to a page saying this email is already used something like that.

This mod from Alan George may be what you are after. It works with 2.10.19 but if an update becomes available, that will overwrite this hack.

Does not work with 2.11.x version of phpList.

Latest phpList version is now 3.0.12 (3 February 2015) and requires a minimum of MySQL 5.0 and PHP 5.3.x
