Free PHPlist Admin Theme / Skin

I put this theme together a couple of years ago for a customer who found the default interface a little small and hard to work with. You can see some pics and download it from http://www.brentwoodwebdesign.co.uk/fre ... theme.html

I have only tested it with v2.10.10 but am assuming it works with more recent versions as I've had no reports to the contrary since posting it a couple of months ago.

Would be interested in some feedback :wink:

Anyway, hope it's useful.

I downloaded and ran this on my test list which turned out to be version 2.10.10

Looked good, but I wasn't sure if the template assumed that the version of phpList was 2.10.10 or it really was 2.10.10, so I uploaded 2.10.13 and then reloaded the admin amendments of the template and it works and looks very good.

I did find that the database checkpage formatting was thrown out by the contents of the fifth column seem to be too big which made the right hand menu way off the visible page, but other than that, it looks VERY good indeed!

Thank you bwebs, for your work on this template and for releasing it for free as well. :D

Thank you very much, I really like your template, it looks really much better than the default one and works great with version 2.10.13. :wink:

Must also add that while it does also work under 2.10.14, I have spotted that on the right hand menu, for me at least, the Manage Bounces link is invisible.

Will have a look at this when I get a chance. Just checked on 2.10.10 and it's there for me on that version. So far I've noticed a couple of things that shift over to the right of the screen as well, so a few things to look into.

Thanks for the feedback btw :wink:

Hi, bwebs
Many thanks to the skin you made, it's very clean and nice to view.

But I have a small problem is the link inside the common.php, the words of the link "bouncemgt" is disappear in all languages.
so the field is left empty, but the link still works.

The other small things is also the common.php, the line separate the item call Div2 will also have a hyperlink, and after click the link, page shows the word Div2 -> Sorry Not Implemented Yet.

I have no idea this is a skin issue or the phplist issue, I'll be very appreciate that anyone could solve this situation, thank you.

For those users with the blank 'bouncemgt' link it is probably due to how the menu is modified based on whether or not USE_ADVANCED_BOUNCEHANDLING is set.

To fix, in admin/connect.php line 420 change:
Code: Select all
   if (USE_ADVANCED_BOUNCEHANDLING) {
      $GLOBALS["main_menu"]["bounces"] = "";
      $GLOBALS["main_menu"]["processbounces"] = "";
   } else {
      $GLOBALS["main_menu"]["bouncemgt"] = '';
   }

to

Code: Select all
   if (USE_ADVANCED_BOUNCEHANDLING) {
      unset($GLOBALS["main_menu"]["bounces"]);
      unset($GLOBALS["main_menu"]["processbounces"]);
   } else {
      unset($GLOBALS["main_menu"]["bouncemgt"]);
   }

That will remove the proper links from the menu based on your configuration.

Agreed! I refuse to use both Facebook and Twitter.

Apparently, the link only works if you do use facebook. Bit of a shame, but that's bwebs' decision after 1000+ downloads and not one donation.

Nope, that's not the only problem, the Facebook requirement is crap but it's another problem : with Facebook it DOESN'T work !

So it's a a double crap !
