Suscribe form appears twice!! :(

Hey guys, i've installed PHPList and suscribed myself to my newsletter, haven't tried it yet but first i want to make it look just like any other page on my website!.

But i put the code inside my HTML base and everything looks fine!. but when i try it online it puts the form twice!, one inside my format and once again in the lower part of everything!.

i tried to suscribe in the uppr one and it does work!, but the "thank you an email has been sent..." appears in the lower part!.

ANTI SPAM DO NOT LET ME POST THE LINK, and couldn't find the way to post a screenshot, so i putted the link in my "PROFILE WEBSITE" so you can just click the WWW button on the left to see what i mean!

what am i doing wrong?.
what shall i do?!..

Looks like you've added the <form>....</form> stuff in twice, your customised form (VERY NICE!) and the standard plain form.

Simply delete the code from the second (last) <form> up to the </p> before the </body></html> at the very bottom of your page and that should clear the duplicate form.

aaa...i tried what you said, and looked pretty much like the rigth answer but...

i checked the full HTML code and everything's fine! no double form!.

it's like, everything i customized appears the way it should and at the end it automatically adds the form again!, i checked the online code and it adds a full form at the end!.

i tried by closing the body in the header setting, not in the footer, and not even that fixes it. you can still check the online version at my WWW profile.

please help!! :(

bump!!!..any help?..please guys!, i'm pretty sure the answer is quiet simple but tried a lot of things and nothing fixes this!

it just ands the form code again at the end without asking me!...what tha!!??

All I can think of is that you have your customform AND the default form on the same page?

i zipped the html code i edit in dreamweaver here:

there you can check i didn't do it twice :(!...

anyone else?, any other idea dragonrider?, i'm not that newbie for html i have checked it from head to foot and everything looks fine for me!, help!

I cannot help but wonder if your custom code should have it's own id, I'm guessing that you created it seperate to the default subscribe page? Or did you redesign the default page?

Your site page calls the phplist subscribe page via id=1 which makes me wonder if you added it to the default page.

What have you saved your custom page as? What id does phpList give it?

On a separate note, which I doubt has any bearing on the issue, I note that you have a number of META tags in the <body> of your page, these should of course be in the <head> area. Just a point but nothing to do with this issue I'm sure.

Nope, i redesigned the default suscribe page as i don't think to have any other newsletter and i don't wanted to trouble with creating and deleting lists i decided to do it in the only one i have.

should i remove the "id=1"?, there are no other lists, and yes i did added my code to the default one.

there's just another list called "test" but is not active, and the "id" of my newsletter seems to be "id=2" should i change the one in the code?. but in the suscribe pages list just appears one and it had the "id=1"...too many id's for me :S

i suscribed myself with the default suscribe page...so don't know if i screwed that.

and the id should fix something else, but yet i wonder why the form appears twice...

***EDIT*** I Created a new list from the begining and same thing happens. I removed my suscribe fom from the code and it does not appear anymore, but the one on the bottom keeps appearing!.

You can see it online. ID=1 (the one without my form) and ID=2 (the on WITH my form equals 2 forms)

ANY HELP IS WELCOME!!
