My post was rejected

Postby Guest » 8:53pm, Sat 29 Nov, 2008

I just sent my first post and got this message:

General Error
In order to try to prevent spammers, we do not allow our users to post URLs in any form until they have posted at least 10 legitimate posts and have been with us for more than 7 days. We appreciate your understanding in this matter in order to help us eliminate spam from this forum. If you have somehow gotten this message even though you meet both of the criteria, please let us know ASAP.

Thanks!

I did not include any URLs in my post. The error message did not tell me how to reply, so I am trying this. Cheryl Kim

Any url or url like content will be blocked, I believe an email address will also be caught.

Try ticking the box, alongside the emoticons in the post a reply/topic page, marked Disable HTML in this post, it often helps.

Well, it also seems to block legitimate users away. Anyway, since I'm no longer using phplist, this is EOT for me.

Does this mean that one has to post carefully the first time otherwise one would get rejected on the forum.
