Scheduling a message from within PHP script

Postby joeyvmason » 12:07am, Tue 27 Sep, 2011

I would like to be able to schedule a message to be sent to a specific list on a specific day at a specific time from within a PHP script. Is this possible?

For example, let's say I have the following lists:
- Oct10Reminder1
- Oct10Reminder2
....
....
- Oct10Reminder94Oct10

And each of those lists receives different email content.

Because I'm dealing with SO many different reminders that need to be sent for different things and these reminders are unpredictable, manually creating lists and then manually scheduling these specialized messages to be sent to them is far too time-consuming. I'm able to create lists and subscribe users to lists from within my PHP code, but I can't seem to find a way to schedule a message that goes through PHPlists (the PHP mail() function won't work for me because these messages are scheduled in advance). Has anyone come across a function that will allow me to do this? Any help would be greatly, greatly appreciated!
