Create a new subscribe page.
At the bottom you can choose which user attributes should be displayed, the order of the attributes, and whether they are optional or mandatory.
I don't think that you can control the positioning of the input fields on the subscribe form.

thank you for your quick reply....
the email attribute that i am taking about is the default one, you correctly said that we can we can change the order of the attributes, let me give you an example,
the default are
1) email
2) email
now i want more attributes like name and country.

i created the attributes

when i use them in the subscribe form they appear as
1) email
2) email
3) name
4) country

where as i want it in the manner
1) name
2) email
3) email
4) country

i am not able to figure out how to change position order of email attribute as it is not given when i number the order in which attributes should appear.

You cannot control the positioning of the user attribute fields in that way.

You can clearly reorder all user attribute fields...

...but I, too, would like to reorder (and rename) the e-mail attribute.
